One extra job a month pays for everything. For a trades business turning over £200k+, that's exactly what the managed service costs — one job.
Most clients choose the managed service because it means they never have to think about their website again.
Everything done for you, every month.
Setup fee payable via Stripe. Monthly via GoCardless direct debit.
Own it outright. No ongoing commitment.
Paid in full via Stripe. No payment plan.
A typical plumber charges £300–£600 for a full day's work. A heating engineer doing a boiler replacement earns £1,500–£3,000. One extra job per month — from a website that's actually ranking on Google — pays for the managed service with money to spare.
We're upfront about how the managed service works. Read this before you sign.
Under the managed service, ByHills retains ownership of the website, code and infrastructure until the buyout is exercised. This is how we're able to include hosting, management and support at the monthly price — we're running everything on our infrastructure. You have full use of the site. You just don't own the underlying assets until you buy them out.
At any point during the managed service, you can pay the £1,500 buyout fee and take complete ownership — all files, all logins, everything. The monthly direct debit stops and the site is yours. Simple. This is the same price as the build only option, which is intentional.
The initial term is 12 months. After that, the contract rolls on a monthly basis — cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. We ask for 12 months upfront because it takes time to get a new website ranking and generating leads, and we want to be committed to doing the work properly.
If you want to leave during the first 12 months, you can either pay the £1,500 buyout (and the site is yours to take), or settle the remaining months of the contract. We'll always have a conversation about it — we're not interested in trapping anyone.
